Dr. Vijay V. Yeldandi is a leading specialist in Infectious Diseases, with a particular focus on immune system disorders and the management of infections in transplant recipients. He is Board Certified in Infectious Diseases (ABIM, USA) and has led projects supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM). With over three decades of experience, Dr. Yeldandi’s career bridges clinical practice, laboratory and translational research, antimicrobial development, and public health leadership. As a Fulbright Specialist (2019–2022), he has contributed to capacity building and global health collaboration across diverse healthcare systems. Dr. Yeldandi currently serves on the Technical Resource Group (TRG) for the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) and other government advisory panels, offering technical expertise on infectious disease control, antimicrobial stewardship, and health system strengthening. He is based in Hyderabad, Telangana
