Empowering Future Healthcare Professionals: From Prompting to Patient Care

As Artificial Intelligence continues to reshape healthcare, equipping future healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to use these technologies effectively and responsibly has become more important than ever.

To support this vision, the Student Research Council (SRC), Mediciti Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS), in collaboration with SHARE INDIA, organized an engaging workshop on "AI in Healthcare: From Prompting to Patient Care" as part of the "AI in Healthcare: Exploring the Intelligence. Advancing the Care." programme.

Sai Venkat Kothapalli
 Dr. Kola Sai Priya

The session, led by Sai Venkat Kothapalli and Dr. Kola Sai Priya introduced participants to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, prompt engineering, and practical AI tools for medical education, clinical practice, and research. Students explored how AI can enhance learning, improve productivity, support evidence-based decision-making, and complement clinical practice.

The workshop reinforced an important message: AI is not replacing healthcare professionals—it is empowering them to deliver smarter, more informed, and more efficient care.
