Big step towards nurturing the next generation of medical researchers!

We are excited to announce the launch of the Student Research Council (SRC) at Mediciti Institute of Medical Sciences / SHARE INDIA — a first-of-its-kind initiative to strengthen the research culture among medical students. Led by Dr. Shailendra D (Chairman) and @ Dr. Kalpana (Co-Chairperson), the 15-member council will create a vibrant platform for students to explore research, collaborate with mentors, and build essential research skills early in their careers.

Key highlights of the initiative:

  • Promote student-led research
  • Strengthen mentorship and research capacity
  • Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Support ethical research practices
  • Build leadership among future researchers

To support these efforts, five specialized subcommittees will guide activities, along with an AI- enabled Student Research Portal connecting students with mentors, research opportunities, and resources.

This initiative aims to increase student participation in research, enhance the quality of projects, boost publications and presentations, and strengthen institutional visibility.

At SHARE INDIA, we believe today’s students are tomorrow’s innovators in healthcare. Excited to see the ideas, discoveries, and impact that will emerge from this initiative.
